Merge Tickets, New Print Options and more in our January Updates

We are glad to announce that the first rollout of the new year is around the corner. It’s scheduled to happen on Saturday, 12 January 2013, from 21:30 EST to Sunday, 13 January 2013, from 00:30 EST (Sunday, 13 January 2013, 02:30:00 GMT to 05:30:00).

Taking care of duplicate tickets has never been so easy. In a couple of clicks, you can merge tickets into one and clean up your help desk. If you are having second thoughts, unmerge them with ease as well!

When you try to locate a deleted ticket, now there is a brief log showing the key details about the ticket and the staff who deleted it.

Importing Custom Field Info to Contacts

It is now possible to import contacts with custom field information. The extra fields will be added to the contact fields under each contact. Huge timesaver when trying migrate from a CRM or when importing an entire customer database.

Comprehensive control over what details from tickets get printed. From the print details page you can select/deselect to print messages, forward notes, private notes and activity log.

The slick More Actions menu has got a new addition and some UI enhancements.

New Languages

HappyFox is now available in Turkish, Bulgarian, Norwegian, Hindi, Romanian, Albanian, Greek, Slovenian and Hungarian. More languages will make the list in the coming days.


  1. When forwarding a ticket, it’s now possible to select or deselect attachments before sending it.
  2. Ellipses are displayed in the ticket box if there is more to read than what’s shown in the ticket preview.
  3. Better alignment of multiple choice custom field values in the new ticket form.
  4. Knowledge Base can now have a default section.
