Advanced Search isn’t the only new addition you are going to see in the coming weeks. There are some more major and minor enhancements planned as well. One interesting change is that, we have altered the way new tickets are created from the Customer portal.
Right now, there is a link at the top of the customer portal for customers to create new tickets. There is no need for the customer to login to create new tickets. To avoid this, after the next HappyFox update, this link won’t be available publicly by default.
For those who plan to continue allowing customers to create new tickets without the need to login, there is a quick workaround as well. The description section of the customer portal is entirely customizable.
All you have to do is add a link to create a new ticket in the description (for example, https://yourcompanyname.happyfox.com/new) and things will be back to the way they were!
This change will come into effect only in the customer portal. You and your staff can continue to create new tickets from your accounts without any hiccups!
