HappyFox blog

Few weeks ago, we covered how to import contacts from a database to your HappyFox account and organize them into groups. Today, we shall see the steps involved in exporting all your contact information from your account.

Creating an Empty Report

Creating an Empty Report

In the first step, create a report with no conditions so that you can view all the tickets and contacts in your account. This can be done by visiting the Reports section of the app.

Selecting Date Range

Selecting Date Range

Save the report and open it from the Available Reports screen. To the top left corner you will see the menu for selecting the date range. Pick Year to Date or any other option that would include all the tickets.

Scroll down to the bottom of the report to the Tabular View section of the report. Click on the Customer Activity View icon [first one from right].

You will get to see all your customers along with their statistics. Some names might be blank and this could be because only their email id is stored in contact information and not the name.

In the final step, scroll down a bit further and click on the CSV/Excel option just below the Customer Activity panel. Once exported, the first and second columns of the CSV file will contain customer names and emails respectively. Give it a try and do drop in a word if you have any queries!
